ARTIST REFLECTION –CARTOON

I think the strongest part of my visual was the use of color. I think the structure of the cartoon could have been better, I believe I should have played more with the pen tool and could’ve been more flexible with the tools in Photoshop. I used the pen tool to outline the cartoon, and Photoshop to add color and minor details. The easiest part about this project was hand drawing it, I had more versatility with what I wanted to see. The hardest part was outlining the image with the pen tool because I’m not fully comfortable with it. I completed the objectives by creating the cartoon by myself and no taking it offline, and outlining what I could with the pen tool. If I could do it over I would get more comfortable with the pen tool and add more detail to the cartoon. I would rate my project a four because I could have done better.
